Water

I need your lips like water

I crave your touch like bread

And every day I hunger

No matter how much I’ve been fed

And I don’t like to admit it

‘Cause I’ve been proud to walk alone

But life’s another colour

Than anything I’ve ever known

Here we stand in clouds of stardust

With all the things we can’t explain

But you make me believe

In miracles again

I’ve heard rumours on the water

All the wrecks with love to blame

Maybe what’s between us

Should have another name

I need your lips like water

I crave your touch like bread

And every day I hunger

No matter how much I’ve been fed
